PHYSICAL EDUCATION

The Athletics Office is the unit responsible for the sports and physical fitness program of the school. The office designs and implements sporting programs in support to the WCC's educational philosophy. It regularly conducts sporting events and participates in intercollegiate competitions. It also supervises the varsity teams including the recruitment and recommendation of athletic scholars.

Admired as young and bullish in the college sports scene, the WCC Athletics Office through the leadership of the VPED Dr. Ramon V. Guico III and Athletics Director Val Rico Rommel G. Ouano, continuously achieved unique and impressive victories.

In November 2005, WCC hosted the Men's National Collegiate Athletic Association (MNCAA) Season 2 Opening Ceremony - a clear indication of its ability to mount big events.

Currently, WCC is a member of the following associations:

•  Colleges and Universities Sports Association (CUSA)
•  Northern Metro Manila Athletic Association (NMMAA)
•  Men's National Collegiate Athletic Association (MNCAA)
•  Women's National Collegiate Athletic Association (WNCAA)

THE VIKINGS

The Varsity Team is collectively called as WCC Vikings.

Like the legendary Norse warriors, the Vikings are aggressive, brave, and masters of their fields. The Viking athlete takes each battle as a personal challenge armed with a purpose to gain more respect, survival, and supremacy. In the course of every challenging and powerful journey, a Viking athlete practices the values of camaraderie, sportsmanship, teamwork and unity.

The Senior Vikings ( men's basketball team) is the pioneer among the varsity team. Acknowledged as the lead runners in WCC's quest for sports supremacy. Their first runner up plums in the 2004 and 2005 seasons in the CUSA are more than proof of the Vikings expedition.

The Junior Vikings composed of WCC high school students in Caloocan City , dominated the Northern Metro Manila Athletic Association (NMMAA). The team achieved a monumental feat when it won the championship in the ___ season of the NMAAA beating perennial champ in the annual league.

The Lady Vikings boasts of energetic women's shooters who emerged as 3 rd place in the 11 th CUSA women's basketball season.

The WCC Pep Squad is the official school cheering team. Known as the Voice of the Vikings, the team is the official school spirit booster during WCC games.
