HISTORY

The year when man first walked on the moon was also the same year 1969, when Mrs. Virginia Datiles V. De Lizardo founded the Holy Trinity School .

The Holy Trinity School started with two classes, one in Kindergarten and another in Prepatory level. Under its first Principals, Mrs, Mauricia Jalondoni, the school was registered in the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports, and consistently before her retirement ten years later, the school grew in population and popularity in Caloocan City . In this ten-years period, the President/founder built more classrooms and educational facilities to accommodate the growth of the school.

As in any institution, The Holy Trinity School faced countless or deals as it continued to evolve into one of the veteran schools of today. In 1986, a ranging fire consumed the residence and office of the President, where the administration offices are present located. Volumes of books and school equipment were destroyed. The nursery classroom was razed to the ground by this fire. It was only God' s grace that the fire was contained and the rest of the school building saved.

But as in any ordeal, the fire that damaged the school brought dramatic change. It was through this event that the President and the Board of Directors envisioned of establishing a High School. This vision was realized in 1994 when the secondary course, starting with first year came into operation. However, with demise of the founder in 1995, the school, seemingly, was orphaned. But the Board of Directors persevered and continued the work she had left behind.

In 1997, the Board of Directors turned over the management and ownership of the school to the Guico Family to sustain its continuing growth. Today, under the leadership of Ramon V. Guico III, the incumbent President, The Holy Trinity School started new chapter of its life. The enthusiasm, vision and quality of leadership that new management has gave way to be rapid and consistent growth of the institution.

Remarkable changes have continued to progress through the new able management. The school boasts of highly competent teachers, high-end educational facilities, and renewed commitment of imparting to the youth the best education, the best care, and the best supervision for their total human and Christian development.
