Their activities range from blood-letting to literary-musical presentations, acquaintance parties, quiz bee contests, film showing, beauty pageants, mountain-climbing, medical missions, community outreach, peer counseling, sports festivals, charity projects, campus ministries, and many more!

Alternative to Classroom Learning Experiences (ACLEs)

ACLE Activities enhance and enrich learning experiences of students. As WCC scales the ever-widening frontiers of knowledge, it takes advantage of a whole array of educational approaches so that students always remain in the frontlines of academic training and knowledge explosion.

These activities range from sensitivity trainings to educational field trips, special seminars across academic disciplines, community extension services and exposures, and cooking festivals. The afternoons of Tuesday and Friday are reserved for conducting ACLEs.

Mini Chefs On Parade

One of the fastest-growing departments in WCC, the Hotel and Restaurant Management students marked a new beginning with its Mini Chefs on Parade. In the venerable tradition of HRM institutions and colleges, the HRM Department regales all students with a yearly display of their best and most creative culinary concoctions.

Sports Festivals

Through its Physical Education courses and Sports activities, WCC offers a wide array of athletic programs and training opportunities. WCC Varsity Teams are being groom for different inter-collegiate competitions.

The World Citi Vikings take the lead among these varsity teams. Formed only in the 1st semester of AY 2003-2004, the Vikings have dribbled their way to court prominence settling for a 4th final slot at NAASCU's (National Athletic Association of Colleges and Universities) 3rd season.

Extension and Outreach

In addition to instruction and research, extension and outreach constitute an important hallmark of college education. This is not merely a practicum event or simulated on-the-job training program. It strikes at the very root of Christian principles and ethical ideals of World Citi Colleges – professional competence is always practiced in the spirit of compassionate commitment and service.

Foundation Day Celebration

The WCC Education System is a synergy of three schools – each with colorful histories and great moments of transformations. WCC QC leads in this series of developments and continues to add feathers to its cap. WCC Antipolo which traces its roots from the Westminster College of the Philippines and operating for less than a decade keeps on gaining momentum in its population, programs and services. WCC Caloocan, formerly Holy Trinity School , repackages itself with a newly constructed building and now offers tertiary education.

The Administration, Faculty and Staff, students and alumni cherish the struggles that led to the transformations of these institutions. Thus to commemorate the educational heritage and ideals and to celebrate the re-birth of its campuses, the WCC community marks December 10 for its system-wide Foundation Day – an occasion filled with festivities and presentations all devoted in a day of celebrating and sharing success. WCC Quezon City Caloocan and Antipolo marks December 9-10, December 12 and June 17 as foundation days respectively.
